It's always been my belief that a successful sarge starts with good eye contact. But I rarely get it, or when I do the girl quickly turns the other way.

Would you take this as a hint that she's not interested? Would this bother you guys or stop you from approaching? Even when she makes an effort to not look at you?

From experience. Girls with strong eye contact usually open better than girls who are avoiding eye contact. It's a gut feeling I get that tells me who wants me to open and who doesn't.

Anyway, with me I honestly think the girls are attracted to me but afraid to "gawk" or stare at me so they turn away when I notice. I should probably see this as an IOI and move in to sarge. But yeah eye contact is definitely something I need to work more on. Even in set my eye contact is so weak. I need to work on "the gaze." I use to be good at it.
